So... ive done some medium and long range shooting and want to take a coyote in the 500 to 1,000 yard range. 99% of my coyote hunting is calling at night or 1's spotted at night harassing deer.
I have top notch 640 thermals with lrf & balistics that work well. Case and point, skunk at 360, possum at 435.
I have 2 tikka's that shoot well. A 6.5 creed upr & an ace 6.5 prc. Both are sub .5 moa with the prc about .25 moa.
Took a shot at 200, sounded good, dog ran off, tripple checked zero, gun was on. Took a shot last night at 220, dog ran 50 and fell over. Im thinking my 135 bergers arnt opening yet.
Anyone else popping them at distance with a 6.5?
