Long Term Gun Storage

..how about a Shop-Vac to vacuum pack a rifle?? Those things are made to suck up liquids, and would not (or should not) come apart with the ingestion of some moisture.

I recently removed all my firearms from my homeowners' insurance policy because I needed to update it with new additions to my collection. I had traded, gifted, sold a few guns since I had originally taken out the rider policy.

In order for these firearms to be insured, the insuror had to have a list, with serial numbers, for all firearms insured. Also, an appraisal with notation of any distinguishing marks of each gun.

It recently struck me that this is, in effect, a gun registry!! I don't know who may have access, but it's not difficult to envision some government agency looking at it.

So, I "got rid of" ALL my guns

Am I being paranoid?? Maybe, but I have little faith in our leadership, anymore.

GOD help America.
