looking for a good used bolt action 223

I am looking for a good bolt action rifle in 223. The only requirements i have is that it shoots good and its not a remington. I dont need one with a scope as i have one for it already. I am wanting this gun to carry on the ranch so i dont have to carry my good varmit rifles all the time

I have a Savage FP10, (heavy 24" barrel, synthetic stock) with accutrigger in 100% condition with no more than 100 rounds through it. Shoots great, as one would expect from the tactical Savage rifle.(Winchester white box under an inch,5 shot 100 yd. groups).

I can take pictures if you are interested. Also can take picture of a 3 shot group measuring .21" w/my pet handload in that rifle.

Will take $475 plus actual shipping to your FFL.

Regards,
hm

I would like to see some pictures of the savage you have. I dont care for stevens but thanks for the advice. Would like to stick with either a Ruger,Winchester,Savage,or CZ,Kimber

The Stevens rifles are Savage rifles, without the accu-trigger and with a different stock. If its for a ranch/farm gun, cant beat em for the price.

The three holes @ 3 o'clock are 55 gr. Nos. Bal. Tips but the three others were same load behind Sierra 53 gr. Matchkings. Suspect playing w/seating depth would have tuned up the Sierra load, but the Noslers shoot so well I quit experimenting.
