Looking for a new gun any suggestions?

For just plain ol fun and maybe potting a little meat a lever action rimfire's awfull hard to beat.
Preferably an old Marlin, Winchester, or Browning, but there's nothing wrong with the newer Henry's.

The father-in-law has a Henry Golden Boy in 22LR. It is a hoot to shoot and easier on the wallet for ammo than the bigger toys. I swing in and take it for a range trip once in a while. It is one of my favorite fun guns and I don't even own it...yet

Upgrade those irons to a reciever mounted aperture sight and you'll be in heaven Shane.

It's actually a Williams sight but Skinner is now making a reciever mounted sight too. I used to have one of his barrel mounted peeps on it but having the sight so far from the eye kinda defeats the idea of an aperture sight. It was still better than the semi-buckhorn that came on it but the Williams is definatly more accurate.

I'll keep my suggestions limited to the open sights, real wood stock theme! LOL
I cant see a collection being complete without at least one of the following... or all three! LOL

A Sharps in 45-70

M1A

Garand maybe?
