Im looking for a 4X4 4 wheeler probably used for hunting running trap lines etc. im a big guy 6'2 275. But i want somthing small but powerful and quiet that will fit in the bed of a f-150 thats not to wide to get through narrow spots with trees etc. i dont plan on getting crazy or doing jackass stuff. Dont need to run 80mph Just enough tourqe to pull my fatass around thanks to all

older Honda 300 would get my vote. go anywhere you are brave enough to take it and very reliable. and it is on the smaller size compared to any of the newer atvs. love mine.

Sportsman 335. I have loaded a complete cow elk on the back, my 215# butt on the front rack and had my 270# friend drive us out and back to camp.

Honda Rubicon. Pretty quiet when I got it. I put a Silencer exhaust on it and would surprise the camp when I returned, that was really quiet.

I dont know where you are but there is a man here in E TN who has maybe 12 4 wheeler of different sizes for sale. He is disabled and fools with such stuff. If you are interested PM me and I can get you together. All his stuff is clean.

2015 Polaris® Sportsman® Touring 570 Sage Green - $6742
Saves 4k from the x2 570.
For used Id be looking at your local area Craigs listings also.

Well i found a 2004 honda rancher 400. The guy is firm at $2200. Just serviced new tires new battery and new winch 1500 miles dont know if thats a good deal or not thats about all i can do money wise. Any opinions

Look at a Polaris 500 scrambler. Once you ride/drive it nothing else compares. The 4wd is shift on the fly and the suspension is very forgiving so it handles
Great. You can find them for under 2k

I have had several makes now.
The Polaris starts and rides good. They have room onboard. As the mechanics stated "They're not quite as refined but parts are cheaper.
Suzuki has some good things to offer.
Honda are pretty tough with a little less room. I have seen some unbelievable endurance displays on the job.
I prefer no drive belt/clutch even though they perform pretty well.

I second the Honda Rubicon have had three of them tough as nails they are a little more money it seems but in my opinion well worth the extra money the first one had over 10000 miles when I sold it to a friend he's still riding it. Besides normal maintenence had two issues with it mechanically.

I saw a Rubicon that had 17,000 miles.
One guy told me the Rubicon was worthless cause he got water in it crossing a river.
Not everybody can be happy with it I guess, but they are nice to ride and tuff.
