Looking for ideas for a new bolt action

I ended up ordering a Springfield Waypoint in .308 with a steel barrel. I went back and forth with the carbon barrel but in the end I think steel is a better option.
I looked hard at the Sig Cross but after watching a few videos of the accuracy I decided against it. The video by M.A.C put the nail in the coffin.
The Aero Solus is nowhere to be found and it appears they have shut the doors. Ill be looking for parts on CDNN soon.
The Savage impulse caught my eye but the new upgraded ones are hard to find or haven't hit the shelves yet.
Bergara Premier was at the top of my list but couldnt find one that checked all the boxes. It seems most were very heavy or had a stock that I didnt care for. Or just plain out of my budget.
For anyone who suggested Tikka. They have a decent action but the rifles suck. The stock feels like Tupperware. If its a heavier profile barrel then its really awkward. The barrels are usually long. The action itself is slick due to tolerances but usually a lot bigger than it needs to be. Ive sold most of mine and have 1 left. Its a fast twist 22-250 that shoots good but really slow.
Browning X-bolt 2 was another I looked at. They have some decent rifles but most are hard to find. I wanted something short and little heavier but not too heavy. Maybe 7-7.5 lbs. Hopefully they made their triggers better in the x-bolt 2.
The Sako 90 was another I looked at but didnt really see anything that caught my eye.
I appreciate all the ideas from you folks. Thank you

Weatherby is again making the 224 varmintmaster rifle. It’s a nice very unique round a bit slower than the 22-250 and faster than the 223.

I am salivating for that new Seekins PH NRL in 25cm. They can’t hit the shelves fast enough as far as I’m concerned. It’ll probably turn into my new Coyote gun.
