Looking for reviews on the Iray TH50c V2 Thermal

Iray has dropped the price on these 640 scopes. Does anyone have one that can give an honest review? I read some issues guys were having about the screen freezing up and randomly shutting down. Any reviews? Thanks
 
I have what I guess is the V1 version and no issues whatsoever. No freezing or shutting down at all. Heck I have stayed out 6 hours before with it on the entire time and never an issue.
Guessing if there’s been an issue it’s with the V2 and not my model.
 
I also had the V1 and it is on my top 10 list. Based on my experience with that model and many others, I would highly recommend the V2, especially at the new price point.

I have been behind one for a little better then a year now. I earn a living killing yotes and pigs with a bolt 50 v2 it’s been great. If I was gonna get into thermal now id be looking towards the new Rico 50 same specs and with a built in lrf and a mount. Same price, I had to purchase mine separately. That said usually twice a year they have a really good promotion free lrf etc.

I've had that happen with the MKIII 60 and the Trijicon Skeetir, both units 2 and 4X the price of the current V2. The 4K dollar price point on the new TH50CV2 is well worth it. It was my choice until the new "true" HD RS75's became available. I don't have a video review other than video clips and a lot of info from Amantine who had used that unit hard for a year.

Maybe they’ve had an increase both had been $5500 for 640core 50mm. Plus the focus adjustment on Rico is smoother and easier. Very difficult on bolt even when you’ve got a ring on it.
 
To me, the reason you buy the BOLT is because you have a bolt rifle, and you don't need a cantilever mount. Otherwise, the RICO series with the top focus knob is great.
