where can I get snow camo coveralls, or pants and a jacket, gloves, facemask and a hat?Ive looked and looked and either everything is 200 bucks or they are the crappy paper thin suits..Anybody have any ideas?I dont care if I have to pull it over my warm clothes, I just need some snow camo.Christmas is coming soon

Stay far away from cotton, polyester, or anything that is not fully waterproof (not just water resistant)

It will attract snow, get wet, freeze solid and get heavy.

I personally like light weight overwhite style suits, either in all white, camo, or even my home made ghillie...either way, the lightweight ripstop style suits will forever be my preference.

I got my snow camo from the US military! But if you want to buy it on the civilian side go to a military surplus store. Cost me 25 bucks for both a top and bottom. They pull right over your hunting close so i usually were my insulated bibs and jacket and just throw them on over it.

I make my own, but DKY Industries used to make Trojan Overwhites (kinda spendy but supurb) I believe they might have went out of buisness. Stuff pops up on Ebay now and again, as long as it's ripstop and waterproof, I don't know that it matters.

Some are cotton. I use poncho to cover up my regular insulated camo. If the snow is not solid, you can mix and match camo/snow camo. If you are into making your own stuff the German Poncho is a huge amount of cloth for cutting and sewing. My wife sewed up some white fleece into a hat and neck gaiter that works really well. I am still trying to get her to make me some over mittens out of the same stuff.

You can go to a runnings or most any farm and fleet stores and get a painters suit. Cheap and in the off season you can use spray paint to make some shadows and grass on it but do it in the off season becuase it takes awhile for the smell to go away. Thats what I did till I got a suit in natural gear snow cammo. You could try the sportsmans guide too they got surplus snow cammo most of the time.

You can see what the nat gear looks like in my post in the photo forum under few yote pics. I like the stuff.

Cover ups are nice because you don't need a whole new set of clothes and can put as many layers as on as you need. It helps for warmth to get another layer on but if you are walking through lots of snow and putting in lots of stands, it beats you up having multiple layers. You start to feel like Ralphy's little brother from the Christmas Story as you layer up even if it is just a base layer, warm layer and a cover up.

I just switched to a new pattern called Winter Brush by Mossy Oak made by Russell. It is just bibs and coat. I am not sure if it is going to be warm enough for the common -30 ND winter temps but I have worn it down to -5 so far and it was pretty good down to those temps.

I bought a set of the kings thunder xtreme (tx pro) top and bottoms this year as well. Quite amazing. I've been out in -5 with sweatpants and a T shirt over a long sleeve shirt (light) and been plenty warm.
