LOST! Savage Bolt Extractor Ball! Reward!

Hey, guys. I was cleaning my bolt (Savage 12FV 22-250) and made a bonehead move: I lost the 1/8" extractor ball. (It's #19 in the Savage Bolt Action exploded diagram) Now the gun can't extract a shell.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement extractor ball ASAP? Does anyone have an extra one lying around? I'll give $10 for one if you can get it mailed out today or tomorrow.

Dumb question... I've only seen one once. Would a BB work?

Midway has alot of Savage replacement parts. I am sure thet had these little balls. Steve

No, sneeky, that wasn't a dumb question; tried it, a BB is too big.

I found myself in that same postion last summer while popping P/D's in SD. I used a #2 steel shot to fix that little deal and now carry a few spares taped to the inside of my scope cap.

Works great, lasts long time.
