At Cabelas just ordered one of these thought others may be interested they are available but i had to order it my local Cabelas didnt have them on hand but the warehouse does.

It's not panic buying when you have 3 builds waiting for various parts. I've just refused to pay the prices with all the gouging.

Pre nuttyness was $58 and up at midwayusa depending on brand.
I have never seen any at complete LPK for $45 for at least 11 years, pre anti everything push.
HPW, had I know you needed 3 lpk I would of sold you the spare ones (5 kits) I had laying around 6 months back.

Most LPK's typically ran, from what I saw, $60-$70 depending on the brand. This is from the last 2 years. LPK's without FCG typically ran around $38-$45.

I paid $74.95 for one with the FCG a couple weeks before the last panic for a DPMS kit, I thought it was a little steep, but it was on the shelf, so I took it. I don't see em going back down below $90 anytime soon. What do you think JoeBob, is this gonna be the new standard price for a full kit? If so, I'm buying one now. After today, looks like things are gonna get even more scarce, at least for a while.
 
I think they'll settle down towards the end of the year most likely. I'd guess they end up about what they were previously: $60-$70 for the basis LPK's.
 
I am hoping the prices settle soon. It may be a few more months before we see good stock back in. What brand did Cabelas have?

I believe Cabelas is selling generically branded CMMG LPK's from what I've heard.

I got 2 cmmg kits for 79.99 per each in February for 2 builds. I got the builds together for about what I would have paid before the panic, but I had to pay more shipping than I would have back then so it inflated the prices by about $50. Also, had to pay a little more for name brands on some higher end parts that were all that was in stock.

Joebob's said what I am hearing just about everywhere. Prices should level out on the back end of the year, and unless the cost on the good shops go up they will be selling it for the same prices as before.
