You might eventually catch one that way but a good cubby would be a lot better on lynx. Make it about 4 foot long, by 2 foot wide and 2 foot high. Build it where you find lynx tracks using a trail or other travelway. Put a beaver carcass or whole rabbit in the middle, with a trap on each end. Set your traps under the mouth of the cubby where snow won`t put them out of order. For coyotes stick with the dirthole but try a rabbit leg instead of the guts, and get a bottle of good coyote lure. I would also reccomend you read or watch every video you can. There is a ton of knowledge out there to be had than way. Good luck.
