Is there any M6 fans on here? I picked up a Springfield M6 Scout the other day. I have always wanted one for some strange reason, but didn't want to pay the $500+ price tag when they pop up at the gun shows. I found this one at a small town gun shop with a nice price tag under $300.

Its a 22LR/410. I have had a lot of fun with it over the past few days.

I have had several of them over the years, very rudimentary but reliable firearms, but then it was designed as an aircrew "survival rifle"..not a bad thing to toss in the back of the truck and kinda forget about until you need it...

The originals didn't have a trigger (lever?) guard...

Should be noted that in some locales, transporting the gun with ammunition in the ammo storage area in the stock, will run you afoul of the law...
