Magnification with pvs-14

What helmet? And it takes about a month or 15 hunts to get use to it. I have to close one eye also. I think its a good idea when you don't use your dominant eye.

I feel like we just lost a member of the helmet team.

I think the 4.5 will be good for field of view and shotgun. that little extra will help.

even though the 4.5 is shorter than the 3x milspec, it wouldn't fit on my rail. I will have to move my Aimpoint one slot further out to use it which also means that there would be no room for the laser at 12 o'clock if I use the 4.5x anyway. since I would have to re-zero the Aimpoint when I move it, it may be a while before I bother with it. after wearing the helmet for about 30 minutes last night, I couldn't stand it on any longer. and I couldn't see well with it in the first place. it still feels like it's on my head...

Man I love my Ops-Core helmet that sucks it doesn't work well for you. I have the Base Jump, INVG mount and EOG counter on back I can wear it for hours on end no issue 1X lens. I only use the 3X mil-spec with QR attachment to slip on for takeing a peek at longer ranges or a quick long range shot but you can't walk around with it on. I almost sounds like something didnt fit you right but heck we are all different so not everyone is going to be a helmet fan just finds what works best for you and go that route.

If any of you all would like a small powerful flashlight to hang around your neck at night while you are out night hunting, I have a couple of these and they are excellent on low setting and super bright on high settings. They take one CR123 battery and last forever, great for getting your gear on and off in the truck or on your stand as you get ready to go.

I put a camo nylon parachute strap around my neck with these hanging off it, with my coyote and hog mouth calls.

Stainless steel, no rust, no problem...
