Anyone use this stock before ? I have a Rem 700 BDL in 30-06 that I want to put in it. The original stock is too nice for my wife to beat up.

I’ve got one on my Ruger American 6.5 Grendel. I really like it. Brownells had them for like $70 cheaper than anyone else. Mine is the AR mag version.

I inherited one with rifle I bought just for the action. its not a bad stock. Im using it now until I figure out what I want.

If you shoot from a bipod though, go for the MDT field stock. The magpul only has M-lok on the farthest 3-5 inches of the stock. kinda throws the whole balance off if mounting on a tripod. The field stock looks to have M-lok father back, close to the CG of the gun.

I was about to hack up the magpul to mount some sort of ARCA rail closer to the CG, but dont think its worth it. Ill just get a field stock or a better chassis/stock later.

If your buying new though, that might be a key feature to push you one way or another.

The MDT Field stock is on my to get list for a "janky" Savage .
Don't know if I'll be a fan or not until I run it, but I do like the features. As I'm sure it's miles ahead of the cheap "plastic" stock it was sold with.
(supports the Rem 700 LA as well, downside might be the AICS magazines to some, others it's a plus)
No practical experience with the Magpul other than handling, so I can't comment on it outside impressions which is way different than actually running it.
