Mahjong?

I was just curious to see if I'm the only person here that plays the game Mahjong, on a somewhat regular basis?

In fact, I'm playing right now. Hahaha

I`ll keep my socially unacceptable wise crack to myself

Actually never heard of the game so I`ll have to google it later.

Every friggen day of the week here. Either the game that came with Windows 7 or one of the Hoyle versions. One of the greatest time wasters ever developed by the Chinese as far as I'm concerned.

Actually it served me well over the years when I would be too tense or wound up over something to fall asleep. About an hour of mah-jong would clear my mind and relax me enough to crash.

Good one, Redfrog.

It's just one of several online games I play from time to time.
I guess I play these games because I'm a video game junkie from the early days of Frogger, Pac-Man, Galaga, Space Invaders, Centipede, Asteriods & Pong. Hahaha
In fact, in the early '90s, I was even the asst manager at one of those video arcades. Used to stay after-hours, & play all the new games like Tekken, Mortal Combat, ect. for free.
OK, so maybe that was too much info. Hahahaha

I played with my Mahjong until I read it may affect vision and cause hair growth on palm..

I didn't mind the hair, but I gotta be able to see coyotes.

I dont play it on line but used to play it on the table a lot. I enjoy the game as well as a good game of chess.

Doggin', you are too much. Hahahaha

Reb, I thoroughly love to play chess.
Been doing it for 35+ yrs. (Sixth grade teacher taught me.)
But, I don't care for playing it online, & there's nobody that I know in my small group of friends/family who is willing to play me.

My favorite aunt is a fan, and has an old ivory set of tiles. She taught us how to play, and my wife and I still like it. I'm always on the lookout for an old set to snatch up.

I dont have anyone to play here. My dad taught me about 35 years ago and I had a lot of good games with him. None of my friends play it. The wife did get me a set for Christmas and asked me to teach here though. Looks like I get to play again. It has been about 15 years since I played.
