Major Foxpro problems?

A while ago I bought a foxpro caller as my other E-caller was getting older and I wanted to try something new. On the very first stand I called in a coyote and was very optimistic that this new caller was going to be great. After the second hunt the caller broke. The remote would not work at all. The caller sat on my shelf for the rest of the season. I finally sent it back and they fixed it. On the first day that I used the call it broke again. The sounds became static and would not play clearly. The call sat on my shelf again for several months. I finally sent the call this november and received the call back "fixed". This time I went on a week long hunt in northern Wyoming. On the fist stand....the call broke again. You can imagine how unhappy I was that this caller would not work. I resorted to my mouth calls for the remainder of the hunt as I did not bring my old trusty e-caller on that trip.

I think I am done with foxpro....How many of you are using other brands and how are they holding up? Give me some suggestions of other brands of e-calls that you are using.

That's a bummer. Which model did you have all the trouble with? I have an FX3 that has never given me a minute's worth of problems.

You sure are hard on callers.

wyoman,

Could you please email me your name and address so that I can take a look at your repair records? I would like to see what the problem and diagnosis was. You can email it to me at mike@gofoxpro.com.

I can assure you that I will do everything that I can to keep you a satisfied FOXPRO customer. Something sounds funny about having it back here 3 times. The only way I can get involved and go over the issue with the repair dept is to know the entire story.

I appreciate your assistance, and hope that I can regain your confidence.

Wow, that's definately not typical from the FoxPro folks. I'm sure with Mike on here he'll get you taken care of.

We need to get out. Been meaning to get with you on some school stuff, but haven't had the chance.

Mike and the folks at FoxPro are great. I would find this hard to believe that this call broke this frequently after being fixed. Sounds like something else was going on to me. But I am positive that Mike will get this worked out they have the best customer service by far. HAPPY HUNTING

This is one of the main reasons I own a Foxpro.

Foxpro had never let me down..they have great customer service everytime I have ever needed anything.I had to sell mine unfortunately but eventually will get another one.If I didnt like my first one I wouldnt think about buying another.

Seeing this makes me even happier that I bought and FX3...in my opinion, worth every penny and more

they fixed my buddies and his still don't work they were nice though. he has the small one i like the size but mine works every time and i have gave my other 2 to my sons.wt.

gotta admit i never killed much with a foxpro...but there service is exellant...buddy dropped his in water a good time back...and they repaired it...

I had a fury with remote range problems. Foxpro fixed it. The problem returned so I replaced it with a WT MA21 and I haven't looked back. I felt like a field tester for foxpro except I was paying the shipping. Foxpros are nice and call coyotes but I like reliable over gadget.

I still have one of the first FX3's and never had any probs that quality rechargeable batteries did not fix.

The thing works as good as the day I got it.

I have no doubt FP will make this situation right.

Just got a spitfire with range problems, called them, sent it in. Only been a day or so, but they were super nice. Hopefully it will come back working excellent!

I had an FX3, upgraded it to an FX5, sold it and bought a CS-24. Never had trouble with any of them, but I know if I did or do they'll treat me right.

I have owned a Spitfire and a Scorpion. I never had a problem with either one of them but did send the Spitfire back for the upgrade since so many people were having problems with them when they first came out. Foxpros are nice and customer service was top notch but we called in more coyotes with the little Johnny Stewart Attractor and PM3 in a couple outings than we did with the Foxpro's the entire time I had them. I think they sound great but apparently the coyotes around here think differently. I just sold my scorpion after calling in only one coyote with it and bought a used PM3 and called in two this morning. I have just had better luck with Johnny Stewart. Good luck and im sure Mike will get you foxed up.

WOW Mike,
As of right now, I just don't have the extra money laying around to purchase a good electronic caller. " having to recover from Christmas credit card debt" But I must say that after reading your reply to this post, I will make sure which ever caller I purchase, I can promise it will have FOXPRO on it. Nice to see that some companies still care about their customers. Originally Posted By: FOXPROwyoman,
