Marlin bolt gun

Marlin has had that rifle out for a bunch of years then dropped it for a while, Kind of a Win model 70 clone with a look-a-like safety. They took all the things folks liked about modern guns and put them into their bolt gun or so the advertising at the time said.

Not a bad looking little bolt gun and light.

Hmmm interesting, I knew they made a bolt slug gun but didn't know they made a rifle in bolt action...oh well learn something new every day.

Some (maybe most of) the older Marlin Rifles did not shoot well... Also, had a kind of "clubby" stock,as I recall. Proves that shooters really do like a nice looking rifle, but only f it shoots well, and, if it shoots well, it doesn't have to look all that great (Savage/Stevens)...

It looks like a savage clone. The trigger looks similar to the accu-trigger, it has a floating bolt head and a barrel nut to set headspace. Savage is probably making them and marlin put their name on it.
