Out of all the hunting boards the I have visited in the past this is by far the best one that I have found and stuck with. I think that every one that works for this board works very hard, and dose a great job.

I really don't think that you would go into a merger to jepordize what you have worked so hard to put together. I also look forward to some of the things that aren't offered here due to the cost of running a sight like this.

My hat is off to you gents. Thaks for you hard work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One thing here

I really do enjoy the BB, and I dont really care for PXE.

PXE has/had many content-logistic issues to overcome, they said they want to do better, they have their work laid out for them IMHO. I do give them credit for trying to improve.

BUT we need to remember that how PXE is-was-will be is a SEPERATE ISSUE from whatever publicity-share negotiations are going on.

Lets not toss out the baby with the bath water.

Maybe a merger would help out the mag, I think alittle direction on our part could be what they need. They just need to be willing to listen and take contructive criticism and not take it personally and the same goes for the members on this forum. Things wont change overnight, everyone needs to be patient.

Bob So/cal-

First let me start by thanking the staff and adminstration personel for the great job that is being done at PredatorMasters.Com. I appreciate your effort and the generous giving of your time.

I attended the 2nd annual PM hunt in Globe, Az. last Nov. I listened to several member/moderators share their opinions and desires to keep Will Craig's dream alive. I listened to Mike Paul's acceptance speech for the Will Craig award. I sat at the awards assembly and listened the Mrs. Craig's heart felt statement that she was glad that this board stayed on and kept the dream alive.

There in the Country Kitchen in Globe, I realized what this was all about and I told myself that this was a great bunch of people to be "associated" with.

To me the board is a way for the average hunter to share his stories, pictures, and be able to ask questions, receive information, and learn from others in this field. It is also a good way for the public to browse the subject and see just exactly what predator hunting is all about. Not just to one person but many.
The board is a ear to bounce ideas off of. Answers to the what if and whys of predator calling. You will always get some sort of an answer, and within the guidelines you always have a say.
This is what I joined and wish to be "associated" with. When I am seen with a PredatorMasters.com sticker in the back window of my company truck, or my hat. When a young or old coyote hunter asks about it, I can say this is a good place for information and questions.

This is my information that I'm sharing with PM and its members and I choose to share it on this board. I don't have a say anywhere else as pertains to this matter.
In my opinion, I see a conflict of interest and association with PXE, and it matters to me because I am associated with the board. What about the other magazines out there that are put there? I subscribe to the PXE. They asked for ideas on a post and I gave them one or two. You can pull my posts to see if I was throwing rocks or not. I don't believe that I did.

If we are in need of money, then let us go to our members first. The price of a yearly subscription multiplied by right @ 4500 members will go a long way towards the technical support or updates that the board needs.

I am not faceless. Via this amazing tool, I have shared alot of personel information about my hunts, equipment, technique, and my family on this board. As stated I have attended the 2nd hunt in Globe. The people who attended got a chance to meet me if they wished.

Once again, THANKS to all who make the board run. You all do a great job, no complaints here.
Thanks for letting a member have their say.

I am just and will always be a coyote hunter who enjoys this board and this board's ability to allow me in an instant the showing and receiving of wonderful critter information.

for what it is worth.

later pup

Guys, Bob never used the word "merger" once in his post.

There is NO merger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are looking at doing something with them but there is NO MERGER!

Crazywolf, Sounds like your a betting man. I wouldn't want to go to Las Vegas with you my freind, I don't think I would have any money left.
Your prediction is dead wrong. As long as the same people are here that are running the board, your scenario will never see the light of day.

Pup, that was very well put, and I'm sure that summs up the majority or our members feelings about why we come here.
Randy, thank you so much for putting that to rest.

Thanks, Bob, for attempting to alleviate the concerns, confusion and angst against our growing friendship. I understand where every member is coming from — this is y'all's venture and not for me or my magazine to interupt or disturb. But, in my heart of hearts, I think the membership will be shockingly pleased with what's possibly in store, for both entities.

Bob is right. I approached Predator Masters ... about an intended marketing campaign, piggy backing off one another in the interest of predator/varmint hunters across this portion of the hemisphere. Nothing less and certainly nothing more.

Well Stuart, I agree. I think the possibilites are great, but....cest la vie.

Strip me naked..stake me on top of a fireant hill, cover me in maple syrup and let the little bastids gnaw on me for eternity...but I enjoy your magazine....damn the torpedos.

Ahh an attempt to refresh a discussion that took place almost a year ago. History is a wonderful thing. While an issue or subject is new and fresh we do our very best to take the proper or correct decision and move on. That does not exclude the learning and maturing process. An honest attempt was made and that attempt did not work out as well as our hopes would have liked. So all we can do is learn from mistakes where we can and move on. I'm locking this little history lesson down. It will always be here for reference, but please lets not repeat it!
