Mcnett Camo Wrap Smell?

Just got the Mcnett camo wrap for a couple of my coyote rifles. The wrap looks really good and it seems to be as advertised. The only thing is the smell of the stuff is awful. I know in any type of hunting scent elimination is a big deal. Especially, with coyote hunting. My question is, has anybody used this before and noticed the smell and how long does it take to go away, if it goes away at all? I'm gonna let the guns sit in the garage a few days to see what happens. Any advice on eliminating the smell would be appreciated. Thanks

I think I know the smell you're talking about. I've seen custom mousepads that had photos printed on them, probably like your camo is made, that smelled horrible when new. Kinda like stale urine or something, a sickening smell. If your camo has the same smell, caused by a similar printing process, it'll go away pretty soon.

I think thats what it is. Its an odd smell kind of like what you're describing. I've read some reviews and some people have complained about the smell, but they also say it goes away in a few days. I'm hoping thats what mine does. It actually looks and feels great. I would recommend it, that is if the smell goes away. haha

I wouldn't worry a bit about the McNett smell. A coyote is going to be much more concerned about the smell of YOU.

You can't do anything about it. So use the wind/breeze/air currents to your advantage.

I agree. From what I'm reading it should go away on its own anyway. Just wondering if anybody else had the same issue I was having. I may have got an odd roll or something.
