Give it up swampwalker, some of these loons will never, ever understand basic science, astronomy, biology, etc. They only know what was pounded into their brains as small children and into adulthood and their pathways in their brains have been corrupted beyond any hope. Let them believe in their gods and myths and fairy tales and just be glad you are able to be one of the sane and reasonable human beings populating this planet.

They will believe the completely unbelievable w/o any support of facts or the support of basic science what so ever. It's a lost cause to even argue with them, but it can be fun at times.

Glaringly obvious I would think.
2% is the difference between chimps and humans.
That 2% is all it takes to make chimps or humans.Not complicated at all.
I always wondered if evolution was happening what made it stop. Are there things out there that are part one thing and part something else?
With all the creatures it looks like there would be some things that were just about changed into something else but not quite.
 
Need to edit my last post upon looking it up we share 70% of our DNA with a marine worm not 99 like I stated. Sorry for the misinformation. But the fact remains that if you look at the anatomy of a simple animal and see how it works and then all the animals and add in the plants the whole ecosystem and then earth rotating just the right distance from the sun and then the whole solar system I do not understand wanting to believe it all by chance. Way too complex. What are the odds.. like a tornado hitting a junkyard and the wind assembling a fully functioning 747 plane. This is why I say an atheist has much more faith than me because as a Christian what do I have to lose? Don't get me wrong I am not a Christian and believe in God as a "life insurance policy" I'm sold out and all in as I know it to be the truth. There have been things happen to me in my life that there is no other explanation than "God did it" miracles. Anyway just want to point out Satan believes in God he just doesn't follow Him. Satan is being cast into [beeep] by God. Satan doesn't want to go there he doesn't rule there. Satan wants you to go with him not because he likes you but because he hates you and he hates God he just doesn't want God to have you. Eternity is a looooong loooong time I think you need to be sold out in your convictions so make sure you 100% sure God doesn't exist before take on the role of an atheist and pay the price.

You do believe the earth is only 6000 years old right? And the sun is a pile of firewood. And a stork delivers babies, and dinosaurs went extinct 4000 years ago. The lunacy.

So answer my question if you are so confident. I asked a couple VERY simple questions yet you, in all of your great intelligence have failed to answer them.

Far easier to mock that which you do not understand than to acknowledge the truth. You got caught in a lie and cannot man up.

You are right about one thing though; it IS entertaining to watch you roll around laughing at yourself.

Scientists = Priests

Scientific papers = Scripture

To believe a priest you have to believe The Bible, to believe a scientist you have to believe the formulas they have written. To laymen there is no difference in proof.

Satan is and has been known as the great deceiver, if he is real then science makes perfect sense, to discredit God. Satan doesn't want to be known, he doesn't want you to believe in him or God.

Show me proof God isn't real, show me proof we are circling the sun, show me proof there are quarks inside your atoms, show me proof the Andromeda galaxy is 2.5 million light years away and show me proof the earth is 4.5 billion years old. It can't be done without having blind faith in a scientists writings or a scientists equipment and you would have to have a scientist tell you what that equipment is telling you. Just like using The Bible to explain the world and it's events.

Show me proof there is a difference between a scientist and a priest.

I try to keep a very open mind, and I tend to come up with my own conclusions. There is good and evil in this world, that much I know.

One thing that has had me scratching my head lately and has strengthened my faith is the fact that so many of these people and locations dedicated to science and facts actually have A LOT of occult satanic and ancient symbology for evil. As well as so many occult symbols in the media and our elite that say how important science is.

Why are so many people that claim to dedicate their life to science and discovering the mysteries of the universe quietly hiding satanic and occult symbolism? To believe in satan you must believe in God.....
 
Forgot to mention nearly all religions in history have giants and a great flood in their history.

Explain how nearly all ancient religions from around the planet tell of giants and a great flood that took them out.

Willy I believe what rock knocker is referring to is the fact that so many different groups of people that had no contact with one another, in their anciant teaching, have a reference to a flood wiping out the whole world and giants. Seems strange that so many different groups far far away from one another at a time before the internet all had a similar story of their history. Course I'm clearly not as smart as you because yes I believe in God and therefore I must be an idiot without an open mind....maybe you can explain to me why the Bible speaks of "dinosaurs" if they died out a bazillion years before humans evolved from apes and the Bible has not been added to since before 200ad and the first fossils of dinosaurs were discovered in the 1800s. Now don't get me wrong the word dinosaur is not there as it wasn't created until the 1800s as well. You see maybe your not done digging up knowledge in your atheism faith and you will find there is a whole whole lot that coincides with the Bible and with the exceptions of theory's (definition is not fact) nothing has been found to contradict it.

As for giants though. Native Americans have giant and flood stories as well as every corner of Europe and Asia. So, according to scientists, the first Americans arrived here around 13,000 years ago (that's 5 millenia before the first written language) and the Bearing land bridge was covered 11,000 years ago. First Sumerian written language around 3,000BC.

So you're saying that people from every corner of the planet and separated for at least 8,000 years before the first written language and around 12,000 before contact was made again decided to all stick to the same story? And you compare that to the barely 100 year old stories of a tooth fairy.....

And these dates are according to scientists.


You beat me to it dholsapple, I've got some numbers in there for the sciency folk to wrap their head around.

Wait, You're going to disregard the opinion of modern scientists with modern equipment, but take the stories from native Americans and ancient tribes as fact? native Americans were possibly thee most superstitious group of people in the history of man. Don't you find it strange that all of these cataclysmic floods only happened to superstitious groups of people? The kind of people that are renowned for making up stories as they go along?
 
I'm assuming we're referring to Noah's flood. Well, according to that legend, every one of your native Americans parished in the flood, as only a handful of people were aboard. Helluva boat I may add
 
I'm saying it's easier for me to believe facts that were believed basically for all of human history over the "facts" that a scientist decided to share over the last one hundred years, facts they supposedly gathered from their arbitrary machines none of us could understand unless one of them told us what the machine was saying. Ergo, having blind faith in a scientist.

I don't claim to be the best Christian, I don't want to discredit Christianity one bit though. I have gathered my believes from where most religions overlap, and an understanding that there is good and evil.

In Christianity and many religions the equivalent of the devil is known as the great deceiver, he isn't even looking for acknowledgment he just wants to create a whole void of belief. Therefore it makes perfect sense for science to be discrediting God, or the Creator.

Once again though, if science and their followers knows all and doesn't believe in God why are so many of them hiding occult and satanic undertones? If a scientist is acknowledging satan he clearly understands there's a God.

Noah's Ark is The Bible's version of the flood, there are a dozen more. At least a dozen....

Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean some MIT grad student doesn't. There's a lot of [beeep] smart people out there, with access to cutting edge technology. Those arbitrary machines have allowed us to create nuclear power, sequence the human genome, put a man on the moon, build aircraft carriers..

You say science is attacking religion, well how many priest have been killed by scientists? There have been people burnt alive by the church for claiming that the earth rotates. To be fair, things like this happened some time ago and the church is relatively benign these days..science doesn't have an agenda, it's a progression of discoveries. Some happen to contradict preconceived ideas.
