About Michelle :

Written by Dr. Paul L. Williams

"In my own life in my own small way, I have tried to give back to this country that has given me so much," she said. "See, that's why I left a job at a big law firm for a career in public service, "...
Michelle Obama

No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn't perform any official duties. But this hasn't deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession.

Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband's salary.

Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers:

Mamie Eisenhower: One-- paid for personally out of President's salary.

Jackie Kennedy: One

Roseline Carter: One

Barbara Bush: One

Hilary Clinton: Three

Laura Bush: One

Michele Obama: Twenty-two

How things have changed! If you're one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms. Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU,

John Q.Public.

There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady's social life.

One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense.

Note: This does not include makeup artist Ingrid Grimes-Miles, 49, and "First Hairstylist" Johnny Wright, 31, both of whom traveled aboard Air Force One to Europe .

Yes, I know, The Canadian Free Press had to publish this, perhaps because America no longer has a free press and the USA media is too scared that they might be considered racist or suffer at the hands of Obama.

Ok so snopes says she does have 22 people working for her. Thanks for that Rimmy! You dont think thats a little much? Its insane, I dont care if its on par with how many the previouse first ladies had(according to snopes)

Seems to me a pencil and a piece of paper along with a telephone would take care o most of them. Oh and some of that straightener stuff. Oh and maybe Gary coleman could walk behind her and rest that junk on his head, after all I don't think he's busy.

It's probably a bad idea to judge a First Lady on the size of their staff. Some First Ladies have been influental and accomplished a great deal. Others have basically just been presidential spouses and not involved themselves with many issues.

Guess I am overly pessimistic, butt the 1st thing I thought of was that they had researched the law to find out just how much/many were legally possible and hired up to the maximum and that all those folks agreed secretly to a kick back from their new Federal employment.

One of the causes I am so skeptical is that one of my Commanding Officers in the US Army went to prison after being the bag man for a bribery scheme. The guy was a _ _ _ _ of a man but just did the very wrong thing and a Logistics Major killed herself with her service Beretta 92 9mm after realizing she was headed to Ft. Leavenworth and not to attend the Command and General Staff College there but to occupy a cell!

With the Supreme Court of the United States agreeing to review our current President's Birth Certificate and other 'issues' this may all be a moot point soon. Not necessarily real soon, but soon enough!

Took my handy dandy hand held financial calculator to the gross pay of her entourage and @ 15% (the standard tip!) that comes to $238, 680.00 + or - a few dollars. About what her net income was before her husband became President

Think it could'nt/would'nt happen in the most transparent administration in history? Think one more time!

HB, I think you might want to recheck your history on First Ladies...Elenore Roosevelt and Bess Truman were extremely influential, as were Lady Byrd Johnson, Pat Nixon, Rosalyn Carter and Nancy Reagen...Not sure about Mamie Eisenhower and Jacqueline Kennedy....but almost all of the First Ladies were considered influential on their husbands approach to national problems...

Very few had anywhere near the staff of people taking care of them that Madam Obama has...Even Jackie Kennedy (probably the most social) of the recent First Ladies didn't have that kind of entourage...

The Dr. in Oklahoma who is on House Arrest pending Trial for 'murder' for killing one of two armed robbers who shot him in the wrist has to drive into Chickasha every day to charge up the battery on his ankle bracelet or they will take him to the Oklahoma County Jail! His power is out so he sleeps under tons of bedding with his dog!

Dr. Erslinger is a retired USAF LTC in addition to being a Dr. of Pharmacy and has ZERO Rap Sheet!

The entire case revolves around the issue if the one he finished off was capable of recovering from his head wound to continue to attach the Dr. and his employees!

Amazing that if thekOK CO DA gets his way, ALL the people involved in this well be guests of the already over=burdened taxpayer. For sure, Dr. Erslinger may have been a little enthusiastic in his self-defense, but it was clearly only self defense.

If the DA gets his conviction, he certainly won't be re-elected I don't think!

Well, we can save the taxpayers money right off the bat by kicking the make-up artist to the curb. Heck, I will be her make up artist if they want me to be. All I need is a paper bag and some scissors to cut eye holes. Or maybe Barack will just let me borrow one of his. Seriously, ugliest bulldog I have ever seen. She has a bone to pick with fat kids, but I bet she wont say a word about ugly kids.

I guess it’s sad fact of life that we can’t all be as beautiful as you see yourself as being.
