Mid-length or Rifle-length Handguard on 18" barrel?

Okay, so I've finally decided to put in an order for a 6.8 upper. The only delimma is whether to go with a mid-length or a rifle-length handguard? I only have 1 AR15 and it has a 16" bull barrel with a rifle-length handguard and I LOVE it. I know that the 6.8 upper will have a fluted 18" bull barrel. I like the feel of a rifle-length handguard, but will it look WRONG on the 18" bull barrel? Any opinions, pics, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
i like to use rifle length handguards on 16" barrel uppers, so i say it will not look wrong at all. here is an example.

I have a rifle length on my 18" 6.8spc and like it. On my 16" RRA I'd have to change to a low profile gas block to do the same but want to keep the weight down on it so I won't. There are guards longer than rifle length that you could look at too, Yankee Hill makes a nice one.
 
The rifle-length handguard seems to be winning the vote here. That seems to be the way I am leaning. One thing that I was worried about is if the gas block on a mid-length system would be covered by a rifle-length handguard. It is very hard to find pics on the internet of 18" barrels with the rifle-length handguards, so that led me to believe that most people did not do it. I appreciate the info and pics. Keep'em coming!

I prefer rifle length for the bipod position when shooting prone and it carries better with a sling while hunting.
