you did register with them right?

I've had good luck with Midsouth in spite of a problem with their website. They were very gracious in their response to my e-mail and phone call. On the other hand, I've been buying from midway for 20 years, since their catalogs were on that recycled tissue paper. Last summer, I got "upset" with their treatment over a Bottom metal order. After all these years of buying from them and THOUSANDS of dollars, they didn't care. Including potterfield.

Never had any dealings with Midsouth, so no cmt from me.
But, I split my orders between Natchez, Midway, and Sinclair. All 3 are excellent, and I do all of my odering by phone.
Just got a bunch of primers from Natchez.
One more thing about Natchez, and that is from the day I place an order, two days later the box is at my front door. That is for every order I've made from them, and that number of orders is LARGE, double digits. When you call Natchez, you talk to a man who knows guns too.

I'm glad my friend points out the pluses of some places he buys from. My only rub with Natchez is that I've noticed they charge a slight additional fee that others distributors don't mandatorily charge. Whether they charge this fee to insure all shipments or whatever, it bugs me that they don't allow a choice and hence the product costs more sometimes. But if you get the shipment quicker as Martyn points out, perhaps it is worth it.

But I will say Midsouth seems to carry products that even Midway does not have. I recent pulled a stupid stunt (oh no not me) in bending the snot out of not only the decapping pin (and breaking it), but the Decapping Rod in my Redding Die. (Apparently I didn't get all the cleaning media out of a couple of casings after tumbling.) I was trying out my new Redding Big Boss press which happens to have a bit more torque when throwing the lever. And to show my ability for strength (and stupidity) I did the same thing again less than an hour later. Ok everyone has replacement decapping pins. But as it turns out, neither Sinclair, Midway, Cabelas or any other supplier (I could find) had the replacement Decapping Rods than did Midsouth. Trivial...perhaps, but Midsouth saved my bacon and made me a happy camper. But I wish they'd do something with that horrible website and put a decent "Search Engine" to make it easier to find what you need. Even so, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Midsouth to find obscure parts that nobody else seems to be able to provide. Thanks Midsouth!

I agree that their search function is lacking but they are tops on my list when I need to order something. I have never had an issue. For powder and primers I really like Powder Valley.

Well, I need to apologize to Midsouth on the same forum I used to bad mouth them. I did have trouble making an order and asked that my password be emailed to me. When I didn't receive an email I was miffed. What happened was my silly a$$ computer sent their message to the spam folder. So I have to take back what I said about them, and will continue to consider them one of my "go to " suppliers

Been there done that! I've learned the hard way to check different folders when expecting something. Sometimes I think these darn comuters have a mind of their own. In fact, my regular computer is in the shop. Seems it started playin commercials and advetisement when I wasn't even on the Internet. Spooky stuff sometimes!
