millett scopes

I have been using their DMS for a while now. It the one listed in the post above. I have it on an ar now. I has been great. I started it on a 44 mag rifle. It worked well but was too big for the overall package (my opinion). On the AR is has been wonderful. Magnification range is good for the distances I usually encounter. I really like the circle dot reticle, though it took some study time with the subtension guide to fully utilize its capabilitys. I have also kicked around the idea of using it on my shotgun, as the circle would corelate well to the pattern with some of the loads I use.

As for performance of the scpoe, the adjustments have been right on. The glass is very good for the price. The illumination will go low enough to use at night. Also, my particular scope took a pretty good fall to hard surface and is still doing fine. Only a very small scratch in the finish of an adjustment cap.

My buddy has a 4x16 on his 308. Not sure the model, but he got it for about $200. He really likes it, especially for the price and it seemed like a good scope to the point that I told him if he didn't buy it I was going to.
 
I just put the 1-4 30mm on my DPMS M4. Best scope I've had on that gun. Used mostley for coyotes. The circle dot is fast, almost like a red dot. The dot is 1 Minute. The illum is low enough to use at night. I also bought a 4-16 Buck Gold Tac for my DPMS LR-308. Still waiting to shoot it. A lot of AR's around here are wearing the Millett so I figured it couldn't be all bad.
 
i have a millett dms 1X4X30mm mounted on my RRA 6.8 spc...put about 200 rounds through it so far! not disappointed yet!!
i used it to replace a 4X16X50 BSA....wasn't very impressed with the BSA.
