Model 70 Alaskan .338 win mag

I went by a local guys house today to look at some guns he has for sale. I bought a new model Super Black Hawk Beisley in .44 mag as nib with only 6 shots fired for $525. He also had a new in box never fired Model 70 Winchester Alaskan .338 win mag with a 25" barrel. What a beautiful gun. He ordered in Jan of 2012 and got it in December. He offered it to me for $1100 with all of the pappers and the box it came in.
 
I failed to read the full post...I see that he ordered this gun recently..so its new manufacture...I was thinking it was a pre-64 Alaskan...and $1100 would have been a huge steal...if you like the .338 Mag idea, keep your eyes open...you can find them more reasonable

I agree, not any deal. I looked at a new one in 375 H&H for about the same price.
