Mojo using Foxpro sounds??

I was watching the sportsmans channel last night and mojo outdoors came on. It had Byron South on there and they was using Foxpro sounds on the mojo machine???? How the heck does that work?? Does Foxpro and Mojo have an agreement or partnership?
 
Foxpro has no partnership deal with Mojo. Possibly Byron is using some of his sounds on the ecaller. There is no partnership I know of between Foxpro and any other entity.
 
You may be right, but if you are, and they are truly Foxpro sounds, .fxp format, somebody had to convert them to a format that would play on their ecaller.

Oh trust me Al, I have been running FP calls since the old 532B came out and have about 130-150 or so of their sounds in my computer. I know all to well about their .fxp format and it being proprietary to them. I have spent many many hours playing them in the field also and I know what heard was foxpros sounds. Hopefully the Dillon guys will see the show and backup what I am saying. If there is no agreement between the two companys, why the heck would Byron and Mojo use Foxpros sounds on their new products coming out?? The short answer is cause they work! I know the sounds are expensive to produce and the equipment to record with cant be cheap. If I was FP I would be seeing a lawyer.....or 3!!!!

well maybe foxopro will reward you for being such an outstanding and loyal customer and reward you with a brand new caller.......you would think if foxpros sounds were that easy to convert somebody would have leaked an mp3 formatt of some of their most used sounds in mp3 format already. i would wait for some actual facts from either company before making Assumptions. i like how your only interested in what fox pro would have to say but not mojo or byrons side.......

Brownie, not sure if you are not getting enough or what your deal is but I could care less about getting a new call from foxpro or converting a sound to mp3. I know what I heard. Can you identify the sound of a duck? A goose??? A deer snort??? You get the idea (I hope) that I heard what I heard and was able to identify what I heard because I have heard these same sounds on many stands for many years. You make a very valid point in your post though, and I would LOVE to hear from Byron and Mojo as to why they are using FPs sounds on a MOJO show on tv???? Would'nt you??? In fact, I openly invite Byron or Mojo to reply to this thread, not just PM me and tell us all why??? I'll be waiting for a response and also, NO I did'nt read the other thread posted but it appears others have seen and heard it too.

i doubt mojo is dumb enough to put a final product on the shelves with somebodys calls on....

there about quality....and i doubt they are going to be trying to be the #1 call seller.....but making a call that brings in fur...

I love how sue happy this world is. Everybody wants to make a quick buck at others expense. Im not saying all lawyers are bad but now a days it seems like u can sue people for absolutley nothing. Yes there are cases where people do NEED or DRSERVE financial compensation. And Im sure there's already some looking.into on fox pros part and if there is anything illegal it will be handled. Ut calling a lawyer on hear say from th internet is a little much. Hopefully I never run into any of u sue happy people in my lifetime since I have very little money and other than my guns nothig of real high value. Besides they would be getting the bullets before my guns. (And no im not threatning anyone in particular or anyone on the forums or making a threat at all just voicing my opinion)

I would have thought that they would not have been dumb enough to play it on national TV either, but they did, and apparently I am not the only one who seen and heard it.
On another note, speaking of people not knowing things, what about the folks who have never heard FP sounds and they happen to see the show that aired????? All they will ever know is that a "new" Mojo caller and Byron South are calling and killing coyotes, on a Mojo caller. They will not know that it was actually a FP sound. IMO its shady. I hope they do come out with their OWN sounds and produce a nice unit. I think competition in the industry is why we dont still use johny stewart cassette tapes! As for SUEING people, I NEVER once said ANYTHING about that. What I would expect though if I was FP, who put their time, money, and effort to make a good sound library, is to STOP Mojo from using FP sounds on a MOJO unit to generate sales for MOJO. I am pretty sure it would take a lawyer to get that done because if Mojo and Byron had integrity they would not have done it in the first place. Is that to hard to understand???

I believe the unit is still a prototype therefore sounds design functions and capabilities are being tested I would save the comments ab out integrity until u see it at a store or in the field and you Actually head these so called foxpro sounds your claiming they are using.
 
I dont think there is one of you that have any facts to be speculating or questioning someones integrity or to say it is shady. If there is indeed an issue with what is being done with the Mojo call, then Foxpro will deal with it. Until then dont assume or make bad comments about either company or their representatives. You have no facts just questions. This has been brought up in the past and Foxpro commented on it so if there is indeed a problem, they are aware of it. Do not come here and cut or slander Mojo until you have more information on the subject.
