Monarch 2.5x10 BDC or nikoplex?

I have a 16" upper on the way that I'm planning on being my calling rifle and I am thinking that this scope would be a good choice, But I'm not sure if I should get the BCD recticle or just go with the Nikoplex.
With shots around here anywhere from point blank to a very rare max of 200 yards, the BCD doesnt seem needed , but I would like to hear from some of you guys who have one.
I,m planning to put this on a 16" car upper, What do you guys think of this combo for a calling rifle? I think it should be great for those close shots and still be capable for longer distance.

The 2.5-10 would be a great variable for a closer-range calling rifle.

I have several of the Nikons with the BDC. I literally LOVE them in a PD field, but for a calling gun under 200 yards it will just get in the way. Go with the NikoPlex reticle.
 
I'd go milldot. You can range your target and use it for your drop. I'm going for the 2.5-10x42 with the milldot, very nice scope, especially for the money.
 
U can also reticle-rangefind with the BDC by modifying the mil-dot formula slightly. In fact it would be fun to use it for that purpose.
 
I have just ordered my second Nikkon Monarch in 3/9*40 for $200. Go to riflescopes.com and check out the team Primos Monarch as above. I already have one and was so impressed I ordered another, they are extremely good scopes and for $200, a bargain. They have the BDC reticle which on the 3/9 is there if you want it but not obtrusive if you don't need it. I also have Nikons in 4.45/14, 6/18, 5.5/16 but for most hunting purposes the 3/9 is all you need.
 
The team Primos monarch 3x9 is 218.95 at riflescopes.com , but they also have a Burris Fullfield II in a 3x9-40 packaged with a garmin GPS for 209.95

What are your opinions on these fullfield II's. I've never owned a burris either
 
I own the Primos Monarch and the Fullfield 2. I personally like them both but.... I just added another Monarch so my vote goes there. They are both excellent, IMHO, I also own Leupold VX3's, also excellent. My money goes with the Monarchs as they are so clear, excellent in low light, rock steady and not to big and heavy. If you told me I had to use the Burris, I wouldn't be too upset. I also have some higher power Nikkons, like the 5.5/16 same as Leaddog, I find those scopes are superb at the bench but for hunting... too big, heavy, limited field of view and AO is not that practical for predator hunting where time is of the essence, probably great for PD's etc.
