mossy 935 choke and load

What choke/load combo is working best for you?

Yes I have read the pattern results thread but it is to much to take in all at once. I figured this would dumb it down for me.

I don't know what the difference's are between your 935 and my 835 other than the action but my gun shoots #4 buck great with Mbergs mod choke. With BB's the Ulti Mag choke works best.I've patterned the gun with all these Mberg Accumag chokes at 50yds using a few different 4 buck and BB loads-
Imp- .765
Mod- .750
Full- .730
Ulti- .695
Hope this helps some.

I have a Mossberg 835 Turkey/Waterfowl combo. I have tested lots of chokes and loads for this gun. My best combo is with the waterfowl barrel and an HS Undertaker choke. I am running Remington HD-T with great results. 40yds 28 pellets 50 yds 18 pellets 60yds 9 pellets. This is with a 12" Target. This gun hated some of the higher end chokes and loads out there and gave me half or less than this combo in a few instances. Every shotgun has its own personality and two of the same model guns may shoot completely different. My 870 loves the dead coyote with a dead coyote choke. My new Benelli SBE2 is real finicky and I still am not happy with my patterns. I have two more chokes coming in this week to test out.

so far the dead yote choke with the turkey barrel and federal dead coyote patterns ok. at 40yds it will do the job, not going padst that with this combo.

I need to buy some more shells and hit the range

Kick's GT .675 W/#4 3.5" buck,shoots great out of my 935 turkey out to about 75 yards.

I have a few of the others mentioned if your are interested.....

Really? The largest shot my 835 will shoot through Kicks GT .680 is BB.I tried their GT .670 and even with #4 birdshot the pattern went south. The tightest they recommend with the smaller 3" buckshot shells is the Buck Kicker .720.

Bernie get's an A + with that answer. I believe that the Mossberg 835 and 935 have a bore diameter of around .775" ??? A choke tube of .670 would be too tight for #4 BUCK. My advice is to buy a KICKS Buck Kicker X-full for the model 935. 800-587-2779

I have never seen a coyote killing pattern at a distance of 70 yards. Fifty yards yes, but not 70. The 3" Hevi-shot T's shoot a slightly better pattern for me than the 3&1/2" version, and slightly beats Winchester 3&1/2" #4 BUCK, but #4 BUCK is less costly. I shoot a Beretta Extrema2 with a Burris "Speed Bead" attached. I have done a lot of pattern testing with various choke/load combinations. Every shotgun that I have known, will prefer a slightly different choke/load combo than it's twin brother. The Kicks "BuckKicker" X-full tube gets the nod for my gun.
