Most productive FoxPro calls?

I have a FoxPro caller and would like to know which calls you have found to be the most effective overall. The adult cottontail, Baybee and pup howl have been the most productive so far.

That is a good link... but it also makes you wonder if the best ones are the ones that gets used the most often anyways.

Those are good sounds for sure.

While were on the subject of Call Sounds....when You get a FoxPro Caller they have a certain amount of sounds on there, can You pick out each sound after the purchase when You buy them and how do You get the new sounds onto Your Caller?

I'm thinking about buying the FoxPro Firestorm and was wondering how that works?

Pup distress.as far as loading sounds,on the more expensive ones you can link it up with fox pro's web site and download them directly to your caller with a usb cable.the cheaper units have to be sent in to change or add sounds.

Jim Byington, do the vole squeeks actually exist??? I cant hear mine unless im set up close to the call. I have been using eastern cottontail and smashing bobcats with it, hairy woodpecker, has killed a pile of coyotes this year. they all work just gotta use them at the right time I used lightening jack alot but now it just makes coyotes haul tail. I had to switch up and think outside the box and it has been paying off, using diffrent sounds that noone else has been grinding into the ground.......is always a good choice.

Only Foxpro sound that seems to work for me is Hurt Pup 3 so I usually use one of my other sounds that I have downloaded. I think I have only ever called in one coyote using strictly a Foxpro sound and that was with Lucky Bird.

The sounds I use on my FoxPro Fury that have been the most productive for me in early season are the DSG rabbit, dying jack and pup in distress. Mid season female long howls, pup howls, grey fox distress and bird distress calls are effective. Later into breeding season I more or less stick to female invitation howls, long howls, female estrous whimpers and occasionally a territorial challenge howl. Mating and curiosity calls are the most effective this time of year. Leave the old rabbit in distress call that worked early season in the truck if you want to be more successful.

The cheaper models have a micro SD card that is removable and reprogramable, you don't have to send the unit in for changing call sounds!

I have a foxpro fx5 with about 112 sound all predator sound but like fox dist ligting jack and k9 pup sounds seem to work for me dont be afraid to try sounds that others dont try i use all types of sounds but those are my fav imo
