Mountain Men on History Channel?

Just saw this show and am checking it out. Anyone else seen it have thoughts? Looks like a decent show. Pretty cool to watch and makes me want to give it all up go get 40 acres and have a go at it.

I've watched all the episodes so far. It's pretty good. I think the Alaska trapline sounds like a good time.

The Trapline guy, Marty, grew up here in northen WI. He was friends with my nephew all through High School and was in the wreck that killed my nephew. Both were drunk. He was lucky. It's funny to see him now because I remember him as a young kid.

I would agree. But I know I dont have what it takes to make it, as much as I wish I did.

I did until I hurt my neck. Couldn't take the hard work now. Things can change quick when you don't expect it.
