Anyone have any that they particularly liked?

The other day at lunch the TV was on an old John Wayne western. Not sure which one, may have been Train Robbers. But I happen to hear a couple I'd forgotten about (seen it before, been a long time)

The first, they were sitting around the campfire ragging one guy about getting old & slowing down on drinking & chasin' wimmen, and he finally says:

"All I'm saying is, 'Don't get old! You'll live to regret it!!!'"

Another great one was John Wayne, when he tells a young guy:

"You're gonna spend the rest of your life getting up one more time than you get knocked down, so ya better get used to it!"

A lot of good life lessons in John Wayne movies /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

John Wayne in "Big Jake":

Another John Wayne quote from McClintock when he's talking to his wife, "Half the people in the world are women...Why is it you that stirs me so?"

And another one from the same movie, "But I won't hit you...I won't...Awww the Hell I won't."

From Van Wilder, "Worrying is like a rocking chair...It gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere."

Also from Van Wilder, "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive."
