Moving to Denver - help me pick a place to live!

Fort Collins is great! I just graduated from Colorado State and fell in love with the town. I live 10 min. from downtown and still get to hunt yotes in my back yard. I drive over an hour one way to work and think its worth living "up north".

Move to rifle,(western slope), great hunting and you may be able to connect out there or grand junction, about 60 miles away. blue

Check out Evergreen and the Mt. Vernon area. They are in the mountains and close enough to commute. Stay out of the Peoples Republic of Boulder..........

Good Luck,

Bob

Second on Fort Collins. It'll be part of the front range metroplex some day but not soon enough to be a problem. I've cought trout out of the river just downstream of town (yes, down stream!), and all the everything you need just a pre-dawn drive away. Still an ag town. Come on out, it's silly to try and steer people away from colorado these days. It really is as good as it sounds. I can definitly do the airport in 1- 1 1/2 hours. There is also a great shuttle that runs from town, but may take longer.

Mbrown, We should hunt. PM if your interested. I'm far enough in town, they won't let me shoot the fox and deer across the street. I am trying to figure out how to call geese in my back yard to my long bow next season.
