Muck Boot noise

Do any of you guys wear Muck boots? If so is there something to put on them so they are not so loud and squeaky in the snow walking to the stand?
Or is it something to even worry about..

Thanks..

Ditto Caller-4-hire. I am on my second pair in 5 years, but expect the same performance. Great for a waterproof high boot.

As to the noise. I have not noticed any more noise than with other boots in the snow. Either the snow is really cold and squeaks under my heavy feet, or is icy and cracks no matter what boot or snow shoe you have. My only thought would be a cooking spray/silicone spray on the sole to try to stop the squeak but I dont think its the boots.

I used to have some all rubber ones that made a slurp/slap sound when I walked that was caused by the top rocking back and forth against my calf/shin.

my daughter got me a pair of Mucks Woodlands last year for Christmas. absolute best pair of boots i've ever owned. never would have thought i would have enjoyed them this much. warm and very comfortable. the most suprising thing is that they are very quiet compared to other hunting boots i've owned. i hunt with a partner sometimes, and his boots make 3 times as much noise as mine. almost like moccassins. but we don't get much snow down here in alabama. i did notice yesterday that i've developed a leak in both boots about 4 inches from the top of the boot in the seam. that's dissappointing, but i think i may be able to repair it. i was very impressed with the quality of the workmanship in these boots. so i was very suprised to find the leaks yesterday when crossing a shallow creek.

Have had a pair for 3 seasons now, with many many miles on them. I initially found them to be very "quiet" boots. Not my choice in hilly terrain, but they work great for pretty much everything else. They sometimes have a bit of an external squeek in certain snow, where other boots might not make the noise.

I also wear Muck boots and I haven't had any issues with noise on mine. They are a very comfortable boot, my Lacrosse boots were more durable in the thick cover but the Mucks got them beat in all day comfort hands down.

I used Muck Boots for the first time this year and they are definately as good as everyone says they are, no squeeks from mine either, i have Woody Max's.
