My Coyote/Tactical Build...

This build started out as a coyote rifle. After read a ton of info here, and other forums, I decided that a 16 inch barrel would be fine for the distances I was going to be shooting. I live in Michigan and the farthest I am gonna be shooting is around 200 yards, so I decided to add some tactical flavor to it.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I just finished the build. Free time is sparse with a 1 year old. I was planning on yesterday but it rained all day. I will get pics up when I get some rounds shot.
 
Looking good.Hope it shoots good for you...hmm my first `put together` is still getting some fine tuning, didn`t shoot so well at first but getting better.
 
Youll have to let us know how you like that 1-4x for shooting dogs. Im considering a very similiar build for a closer range calling rig with a small amount of 3 gun match style shooting.

I would be interested in hearing about this as well. I am considering using a 1-4x for a similar type of build.
 
I'm just a bit north of you, if you ever want someone to tag along let me know, I also have bee doing some 2-gun/tactical shoots and we are always interested in having more people come out

Chet, have you taken it out calling yet? Scope magnification thoughts?

Ive pretty well settled on the Vortex HS 1-4 when it comes out, just still questioning if the 4x is enough power...
 
haha everyones curious about the lower powered scope, cause i know i sure am. Im curious that if the scope is on 1X does the front sight enter the scope picture?
