My Fur Mobile... in Progress... on my Western Trip...PICS....graphic

Great photos! I thought I looked pretty cool throwing hogs and 'gators in the back of a sporty Ford Edge. You got me beat with the minivan, soap marker, multiple coyote carcasses and blood stains!

Thanks for sharing and great hunting!

I was in Western Oklahoma... now I'm in Texas.... I left those antlers there... no need to carry them out...

My son and I were coming back from the Whittington center and I saw a van go driving down the Interstate with writing on the windows. I thought it was Dan so I came home and gave him a call, but it wasn't him. Dan was still down there in Texas headed to Tonys place. We had a real nice visit and he sounds like a great guy.
I hope that I get a chance to make some stands with him. That would be some real fun.

Keep us posted Dan and keep it going,

just left Tony's... and sitting at Hobb's library... ready to run the back roads tomorrow and chase those doggies in solo mode... Tony says the dogs are everywhere.

Tony sure does know how to call the dogs in...14 in all... but I only hit two of them... not all presented a standing shot for me.... gotta practice those moving shots... the shotgun would have been easy... but I opted only for my 223 savage... love that gun...

Tell ya one thing... Tony is the Man... and Gunner is the King... can't understand why everyone doesn't have a Coy-Dog... I would... 100%. If you haven't experienced the Tony-Gunner Show in person... your MISSING OUT.

So far my total from last Monday to this Monday is... 14 dogs... and should of had more... got 9 in Oklahoma... 3 in Texas.. and 2 here in SE NM... that should bring my Fur Van Wrap up to the side door windows... I need to measure exactly how many dogs is takes to completely wrap a Mini-Van... any guess out there..?

Thanks so much HM1996 for posting my pictures up there... I couldn't make it happen for some reason.

I REALLY DO APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S SUPPORT... it's not easy being me... LOL.

Everyone will not be forgotten... but rewarded some how... some where...some day... I WILL NOT FORGET.

THANKYOU...THANKYOU.. THANKYOU...... Dan

ps... I do plan on being at the worlds... as a spectator... if nothing else... just gotta see it... or even jump into it..

here it is saturday ...the 26th... and I'm sitting in Carlsbad, NM... been traveling around the country looking it over... been up to Sante Fe and even down to Belen... thinking hard about going to the Worlds next week...

I only hunted one morning after leaving Tony's... first stand... called in two yotes... shot one... tried one more stand...nothing.. then started traveling around... will probably get more blood action these next few days...

very interesting country....plenty of room for everyone...it snowed on me this morning as I traveled through CloudCroft... snow and ice everywhere... it's 8600 ft ski country... and pretty... had to stop there and change a radiator hose... easy fix...Praise Jesus...

I'm very glad I made this trip... I bought the yearly license...so I have to come back before March 31st.

If anyone in the East has any pull with Heaven... then please pull down some Blessings upon me and my partner for this Worlds... we need the Eastern's pulling for us... the cards are stacked against us... but miracles do happen....

Thanks Guys... Dan

Here it is... Dec 7th... and I'm finally home after two days shy of it being a 4 week trip... and what a wonderful trip it was... made alot of new friends... saw alot of new places... and ran wild without any responsibilties for awhile. I slept so well in that van setup, that is was hard to sleep in my bed last night...may have to go back out to the van...LOL.

Thanks to Doggin Coyote's constant prayers for me... I made it back home in a DODGE... after 6134 miles, with only fixing one wheel bearing...one raditor hose... and adding one quart of trans fluid... and losing the passenger's wiper motor... so overall... it was pretty much problem free. Only killed 15 yotes... but didn't hunt for a whole week after leaving Tony's... spent it driving and scouting for the World's... which didn't go well for us. Called in some dogs... but didn't capitalize on them... but did get $150.00 for being the farthest hunter... 1706 miles...

I'm tired now...but after some resting time... I'll have to try some western tricks for these eastern dogs... because some tricks do apply...

Thanks to all that had my back... it will never be forgotten... Dan

Glad that you enjoyed your stay out west Dan. Glad to see that you made it home all in one piece......van and body. I wish that we would have gotten to hunt together, but I did enjoy our phone calls.

Keep in touch,
