My wife made my AR a Ghille Suit!!

I keep forgetting to thank Mark McCray. He came shared his homemade sock pics with me, that inspired all of this. Thanks Mark!!

way koool man!, i was wondering if it would interfere w the action or accuracy- so thanks for posting a follow up. I hate to see stuff around the barrels and stock weld (charging handle) areas- but great if it works- I bet she could take orders and fill them right here.

Yes lots of yotes in EP TX- stay center.

Im4flight, That's a great idea and application....If she is having problems with the looseness areas, she might try Spandex as the under layer... It will stretch out for installation and then tighten up in the smaller areas..

If she decides to produce these, I'd be interested in one with a little brighter green....

She might even find some contacts over the border to mass produce them under contract.... I think they would really go over big once any bugs got worked out..But, get a patent on them first...

Now that right there would be sexy, OT!

Seriously, great idea. Might make a nice side business. I might be interested in giving one a try also. Good luck!

I like it and think the idea has real potential. It would be a much more effective camouflage than any paint or dip. Good job!

Absolutely awesome! And it's even better that she took part in your hobbies. My wife is very creative and I'm not quite there yet but someday she might just be willing modify somethings for me too. That Idea sure beets the ol' camo wrap you can buy at the store. I've had real good luck with it but come cleaning time and different seasons it gets tedious. I think slip ons are the way to go.

You don't have to paint your AR or any rifle. They make a camo form wrap that sticks to itself. Leaves no residue on your weapon, and its reusable.
It is available in Mossey Oak, New Break Up, Mossey Oak New Shadowgrass, Desert, Woodland, Snow.
I use the snow and it works great!
You can get it at Cabela's.
