Myrtle is a wood that doesn't come up much here. It's a really nice wood to work with, and the burl is pretty cool too.
Here's a small body Bunny Bomb, myrtle burl. I used a light oil, hand rubbed into the wood, then topped it with a beeswax blend. It's sealed up tight, inside and out.
A little buffing with a soft rag brings the finish up to a warm shine, no-gloss, finish.
The tuning on this Bunny Bomb tone board is low pitched, baby jack / adult cottontail. It is LOUD, and easy to blow.
If you're new to hand calling, I'd be glad to get on the phone with you after you get the call and go over the basics.
Let's end an auction at the stroke of 6:00 PM EST on Wednesday the 21st. Time stamps prior to 6:00 are good, but if it starts with a 6 (6:XX) it's too late.
I'll cover domestic postage and tracking.
Anyone like to start it off with a $15 bid?
Regards, friends!
