Nady 151 VR-LT & HT ?

Muddy Fork,

I saw your post the first time you put it on the forum, and started to reply to it. That said, I also figured there are a lot of people on the forum much more qualified to answer your question than me since they have already used the product you ask about. I'm in the process of building mine, so not quite there yet.

May I suggest that you read the Tech Page on this forum, and more specifically click on the bottom link that says (Wireless Remote). The article is exceptionally well written by a man that knows what he is talking about, has field tested the units, and it should answer your questions for you. If not, he is a member of this forum, and goes by the name of "Lion-Ho." He shares his knowledge with all upon request, but the article is pretty self explanatory.

Personally, I intend to use the VR-LT unit myself. Still not sure if it will be a 151, or a 351 as yet, but leaning towards the 351 as it is more recent technology.

Hope this helps, and you find what you need to make your decision. Here is a link to ArkElkHunter's web page also. He has built a homebrew caller too, and you can check out what he says about the NADY wireless microphones as well.

Good luck on your project,

Muddy Fork, I may be wrong, (would not be the first time, and sad to say for sure will not be the last), but, I think the HT series had a hand held mic., where the transmitter is in the body of the mic. itself, with no adaptor to simply push in a lead from the sound source, where the LT series uses a body pack, that accepts a lavaliere type mic., allowing you to simply connect your sound source to it by connecting to a jack on the body of the transmitter. With the HT series, you will have to break into the hand held mic. and solder connections to your sound source.
