I think the charges ought to be dropped. What do y'all think? It just isn't right to mess up this guys life for carrying a handgun. He's there on a mission to protect our country, not to cause trouble.

Its a crying shame. When I was in law enforcement we carried off duty in DC and even NY. I guess times have changed, and not for the better
 
you cant carry in a different state unless there is a reciprocity agreement between the states. even law enforcement cant do it unless there is reciprocity or they have their LEOSA card which allows them to carry in all 50 states.
