Natural Gear Camo

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of shopping for some new camo clothing and am leaning towards Natural Gear. Do any of you have experience with this brand? It seems to look like a very versatile pattern, but was wondering about the quality of the products offered. Any input would be appreciated.

I've got a couple items in Nat Gear. The quality is on par with gear you get from Cabela's or Redhead, and the pattern seems to work real good down here in the desert. I noticed the other day in Wally World that they carry quite a selection - even have Wrangler jeans in Nat Gear.
 
Ive seriously considered going to Nat Gear here in the SW and most probably will get some in the near future. From what Ive looked at, it does appear of high quality and should be about right for the area. Best wishes and good hunting.
 
Two years ago i got a complete set of Natural gear,bibs,ss shirt,ls shirt,heavy long sleve button shirt and a med wt jacket.I think it is as durable as any hunting clothing I have.It works really well here in West Texas where i hunt.
 
Narural gear works here in the Maryland hills. LAst year I put my 14 year old son on a blown down, snow covered log, and he had a black bear sit on the same log with him! I measured the distance from where he was sitting,(or should I say shi*^&ng), and it was eighteen feet! He said that the bear kept looking in his direction, but never saw him as a threat. That bear has never seen the boy shoot. He did say that as soon as he heard the bear comeing up the hill, the safety came off and he went to full cock just in case. There is no bear season in Maryland, so it was going to have to be a "him or me situation" befor he would have taken a shot. In the Natural Gear camo, you almost dissapear. In the snow, it is the only thing I wear, and in the late Fall when most of the leaves are off the trees, it works pretty well in my tree stand. I say go for it!

I have been using the NatGear 3-D "jacket" and pull-on pants for the past two years and like it very much, in the Arizona country. The 3-D is nice because it is slotted and very cool. I like it better than any Ghillie I have ever used (and I have made and used many). The jacket, pants and face mask is a set and is available for about $100.

Usually, what I use it the 3-D jacket, BDU pants (because of the pockets), hat, face mask, Tee shirt and gloves. All have the tan NatGear pattern.

The NatGear pattern is way invisible here in the varying terrain of Arizona. You do not really need the 3-D but I like it because of the ventilation.

I have had many coyotes walk right next to me as they approach my decoy and Foxpro (close enough to touch). I had a bobcat walk pass me at 12 feet on the way to the FP (he was too pretty to shoot at this close range).

Nat gear is my favorite BUT, in my opinion, the quality of the BDU pant leaves something to be desired. The pants are lightweight but seem to tear on EVERYTHING! Cactus-rip. Mesquit thorn-rip. And my all time favorite: barbed wire-Rrrriiippp. I wish they'd have used a military style BDU pant with thicker rip stop material. Also the zipper in the bomber jacket gave out. The zipper was constantly catching on the bordering cloth. Im gonna have the zipper replaced with a quality one. I love the pattern. I don't care for some of the quality.
 
Thanks for all the input, think I will place an order to Natural Gear. The local Walmarts here in the Springs do not carry this line so I may have to order direct. Thanks again for the input.
