Coyotes legal year round? Thermal hunting allowed? Licenses needed during summer months? Yeah, I could look it up, but most of the time the locals can explain it a lot better.
Maybe? When dealing with rules and regs of other states, you are ALWAYS better off digging up the specifics yourself. Sometimes the rules aren’t “statewide” for example, but change regionally. It doesn’t hurt to ask, but do yourself a favor buddy… look into it yourself before you just charge in on someone else’s word.Yeah, I could look it up, but most of the time the locals can explain it a lot better.

I’m in ND. Coyotes are legal year round. I believe non residents just need the state license for school trust land, private land, national grass land, and private. Where is he going to be at in ND? If he’s going to be hunting on a reservation, he will likely need a tribal fur bear license too. That’s if he’s hunting tribal lands.Coyotes legal year round? Thermal hunting allowed? That’s my stomping grounds. Give meHe’s down around Selfridge I believe on private grounds. They’re out there training pointers for our upcoming quail season. Temps down here would kill a dog, even at first light. Out there they can get several hours of training in during the morning hours.
Here’s a pic of one of our dogs out there right now with a trainer we use. We’re a different plantation than my sons. We send 2-3 dogs out there with a trainer. My son’s plantation drives out with horses and dogs and train their own. Some of these dogs would sell for $20K plus, lol.

All we want are “meat” dogs…aesthetics aren’t that important to us. Now my son’s plantation can have a dog that can find every bird on the place, but if he’s not perfect aesthetically, then it’s gone. Guess that’s the difference in a millionaire owner vs a billionaire, lol. That dog pointing in the above pic would possibly be let go because of the curve in it’s tail. The back dog may get a pass, but it’s tail is not completely straight.
