Need a guide for Rosebud prarie dog hunt.

Years ago I drove out to Mission and hunted the area. Stayed in a Motel in town. Back then we did not have to have the guide. Hunting was great!

SteveM- how much is am I spending at Badriver Bucks and Birds for a few days of hunting?

Anyone hunted Buffalo Gap National Grasslands? Could someone do okay to find dogs without scouting, after the season open June 14? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

When was the last time you were up there? Is it possible there is a Gus Stop in Rosebud as well, but they don't sell licenses? Because I did buy our licenses in Mission at the Gus Stop this March. In fact I just called the Gus Stop (605-856-2166). They said they were in Mission and also sell licenses. I think I found them off of a link you sent me.

I was there last May but I didn't even try at the Gus Stop in Rosebud, I went right the the Game and Fish because I wanted to try the No-Guide zone. I didn't know there was a Gus Stop in Mission. Previous years I have tried in Rosebud at the Gus Stop, they knew they sold them but didn't know how to do it. LOL This year I probably won't be in Rosebud, I am going scouting instead.
 
That sounds about like my experience. If Elneen isn't working at the Gus Stop, then you can't buy a license, because no one else knows how to issue them. LOL. I wouldn't think it would be a very difficult thing to cross train on and learn.....but what do I know. Funny stuff.
