Personally used and my cousin owns the Bushnell Fusion bino's, he was ranging black angus @ 1250yds, and can hit a reflective object well beyond that, I have the RXB-IV's but they don't have 2/3rds the ranging capability as the Fusion bino's... BTW newcons aren't that great, i had the 2000 and couldn't range as far as the fusion... i have the 4000ci's and they suck, i might get a reading @ 1500-2000 on a reflective target, but furthest ranged deer or elk with the newcon unit was 1300yds, so i went with Vector for my LR and ELR shoots!!!!

ya def have to dig deep for those newcons, im looking to spend hopefully less then a 1000. going to have to look into those bushnell fusions, Thanks for the info guys!

look hard at the fusions, but if your looking @ or just under the 1K mark, look @ a Leica 1600, they are better yet.

I recently bgt the Leica 1600 and happy with it. I've also used the Zeiss which also works great but is a bit bulkier to carry.

I have the fusions and hands down the best combo for predator hunting. I've ranged bails over 1700 yards and coyotes no problem to 1000. Glass isn't the greatest but having the rangefinder in the binocs is handy and one less thing to carry and mess with in the field. Price is right too.
