Need bear guide in Northern Minnesota!!

Im in need of a bear guide in zone 25 of northern Minnesota. This area is around Ely,MN. Myself and a friend will need a guide or someone to bait for us and are willing to pay them up to $500 each. Did you check out the outdoor news? Lots of guides advertising in there.

I got drawn for the 5th year in a row in area 51. I bait on my own. Lots of work but kinda fun in a sick kind of way. YOu have to like swatting bugs!

Randy, Thanks for the suggestion but the guide I used to go with is great and he advertises in outdoor news buthe has raised his rates this year. I just can't see spending $750 a head for a bear guide mostly on state land. I know baiting is a lot of work because I've went with the guide baiting before but this is getting too spendy for me. I see several of them have dropped their prices. Some are listed in there at about 450.00.

The DNR also has a list of people who pay the guide fee. I don't know where they all advertise but there are a ton of them. You can call the dnr at their information number and they can send out the list. I'm not sure if it's on the web or not.
