the cercie mvp 4 is a great one to start with it has tree calls in one long range med. range and a close range
bulb type squeekers are nice tape them to your gun
i have the best luck squeeking with my lips though just give them a noisy kiss
hydal government trapper is a great call and has a squeeker built in too
the old wooden lohman howler is the easyest to learn to howl on and has a good deep tone start by learning the lone howl and work your way up from there
i like the old wooden sceery deer grunt tube to do a deer in distress although they are so old they are getting hard to find there has been to many newer modals that i just cant get to bawl
the more calls you own the more you can try so i've never saw a coyote call i didn't wont
song dogs critter calls are the same thing so why do i have 4 of each then there is the critter pee wee, standard, and magnum i got to have them.
tally hoes are great, faulks ok,i wish jonny and ed would adopt me they are my heros.i wish wayne carlton would come up to wyoming and be my hunting buddy, brad harris too. i'm not really to conected to one brand of call they all have there place in my calling but i'm addicted to them all
lohman has a warrentee that if i send them my messed up calls they will repair them for 5 bucks shipping and handleing so if i sent all my old calls back that would be about 500 bucks i have a large tackle box full of coyote calls and another full of call parts and messed up calls,i have three electronic callers opps make that 4 i got a new digital for xmas and a new yote buster call
my thoughts are to never call the same dog with the same sound i've called the same dog in two times in the same day by changing location and sound if deer winter in your area i love a grunt tube it brings them in 5 and 6 at a time.best i've done is 4 out of 6 i just cant reload fast enough
