Need Help. Info on unit 26 In New Mexico

UNIT 26 NEW MEXICO, Need help. I have all my maps of unit 26 and ready to go scout for deer. If anybody has had luck in this unit and don't mind sharing some info. My hunt is in the first week of novemeber, I Would be thank full for any help

Tough unit. I've hunted it a couple times. There are deer, but they tend to like the privately owned valleys with plenty of feed. Like anywhere else in the desert, find water, then get up high and glass hard. You can find them, but probably not from the roads New Mexico style.

From what I hear that unit is hard to hunt ..My buddies hunt out there..And you are going to be surrounded by road hunters....Just to note this is just what I heard ....And also take your yote gun ...There is some good yote country ....
 
Your best bet is going to find a way to get on the back side of a field the deer are using to feed in and try and catch them as they move in and out of the field water may come into play later on but as of right now all the rain there getting there is water almost every where
