i wanted to buy a foxpro but they are to expensive right now
so i am going to make a caller and then save up and buy the fox pro later on
i already have an mp3 player
so i was gonna get a speaker/amp and a long wire but i needed to know where to get sound for this thing any help here?

I just checked out that site. Been there before but only for the reloading data.

So can a person put these sounds right onto a Foxpro ? I have a n FX5. I'm not good with computers and was going to ask for some help on adding new sounds. Sounds like I stumbled on to some guys right here.

Would anyone help out this computer idiot ?

I just have a plain ole desktop Dell, it's only 1 yr old so I hope it will work.

thank you
Mike

Wyoming Drifter,
As long as your computer has USB ports, you can just plug your FX5 in to the computer and it should show up as an external drive on MY COMPUTER. Either use the FoxPro sound utility program to load and number sounds, or manually do it by typing the three digit numbers before the sounds and then the name of the sound i.e. (023 Rabbit Distress) If you need more help, PM me and I can walk you through it or I can give you a call and do it on the phone. Here's a link to a video and all the instructions as well:

Man, thanks guys ! I'll see if I can get started myself. Chances are that I'll have smoke alarms going off and will still need some help. Did my caller come with that cord ? (fx5). if it did I might play he11 finding it , then what ?

You will need the USB cable to add sounds if you can't find it, you can buy one at most computer stores or best buys,wal-marts etc. Not to exspenisve.

If you downlaod files from any source put them in a folder on your C drive under documents, you can lable the folder what you wish, I call mine calling sounds, you can then have sub folders for different critter sounds or keep them all under 1 folder.

In time you should copy all to a hard disc or flash drive in case your C would ever crash then you have them backed up away from your computer. Just select copy all and copy to a cd disc or flash drive. The flash drives are cheap you can get a 2GB for under 20.00 and will hold alot of sounds. Or burn them to the cd disc except you may need a few disc if you have a decent liabrary of sounds.

Well, I had to say Uncle ! I cant find that cord ! I'm going to run into Wally world in hopes of finding one there, if not I'm screwed, the next town with anything is 2 hrs away.

Hang in there with me guys ! Please dont ditch me LOL crowpopper, thanks for starting this , and sorry to steal your thunder.

make sure you get one with the right end on it. The cable is one you would hook up to a printer. USB flat on one end and square on the other. you want one that has an A end which is flat and a B end which is square!

Foxpro sells them for 5.00

Yes then click on those sounds you want and it will pop up where to save then save them to a folder in your documents. Have you downloaded the FP program utility??? If not do that first and then they have a tutoiral you can watch at the FP site to get them from the folder onto your caller.

Others will have to help you as I don't own a fx caller I have the cs-24 so I don't know if it si the same to move to the FP file or not? I would watch the 5 min tutorial or snowcamo can get you the rest of the way.

Start with downlaoding the sounds you want to the folder then download the FP program utlity from gofoxpro.com

What I do for cs-24 is copy and paste them from my sound folder to the FP folder. You go to my documents and then select copy and open up your c drive under my computer and select C drive it will show the foxpro folder after you download the utility, then in that folder click paste and they will show up in there. After you have them all in the FP folder on C then you can hook up your caller and open the program utility and add them to the caller.
