My wife bought me a 223 for x-mas. The model is "Bushmaster" manufactured by Gwinn Firearms out of Bangor Maine.
The Rifle wasn't what I expected, when you hear Bushmaster, well ya know. It resembles a M16 somewhat. The stock is all wood, the barrel looks just like the 16 but the front sight is dif. It has a flash supressor, the gas system is the AK style. The bolt is ontop (it kinda reminds me of 50 cal machine gun) the rear sight is dift than the 16, it's kinda like a ramp style it does have the flip peep. The other thing is, it has 4 shooting positions for the selector switch. 1)safe 2) fire 3) safe 4)fire. None of them are fully auto if you're wonderin'. It dosen't have a bayonet stud eather.
I don't have a digtl camera or I would post a pict. Iwas just kinda wonderin' if anybody has any info on this thing, or do I have a mut so to speak? local gun shops don't have much input. It does take a 30 round M16 clip.
It shoots really good I do know that.
Thanx for your time an input
