Anyone have any experience with the Pentax Lightseeker-30 series scopes. I have the same question posted at
"sniper's Hide" and they don't know very much about them.
I don't hear much about Pentax scopes just wondering why?

Got the gameseeker, and it is a decent scope for the 100 bucks I've got in it. seems to hold zero quite well, nice and clear. the lightseeker is supposed to be the next level up from the gameseeker.

Best I can do.

I did an impulse buy from a guy who listed a Pentax scope, 4x. It was a 'Gameseeker' for $75. I'm not sure if I knew it was that model when I bought it. I'm not impressed & it turned me off from trying the Lightseeker. I had heard Burris did some stuff for them, but in the lightseeker price range I'd rather get a Burris Fullfield.

I have several of the Lightseeker 30's in 6-24 and 8-32, they are exceptional scopes....very durable also!

If you have a chance to buy one at a good price, then get it!

Good scope. Sight picture is smaller than a 50mm should be. LLLLLOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGGGG scope..literally.

Crosshairs are too thick as well.

I have a few 6-24 and 8-32 Lightseekers, including the 30mm version. Like Ackleyman's scopes, mine are from several years ago. Anytime you see one at a good price, buy it. Made by Burris with Burris Signature internals, Pentax lenses. Terrific scopes and not inexpensive.
