Need Quick Opinions

The article Ozzy posted pretty much sums it up. For your intended purpose, and cartridges mentioned, I'd go with the 270 Win. if I were at all recoil sensitive. I have killed plenty of whitetails past 400 yds. with the 270 and 130 grain bullets.....no problems there! I also have a 270 WSM and it is a little flatter shooting. I don't notice much difference in recoil between the two, but the WSM is a tad heavier.
Either 270 will get the job done for you!

Years ago I choose the 7 Mag over a 280 with the idea that I could taylor my loads to match the target with one cartridge. Point being with the 7mm you have the extra punch if needed, load lighter if not...Just food for thought..
I don't think you could go wrong with either choice.

I'm guessing with syn stock and fluted brl the gun you're looking at is fairly light, go .270 or it will be deja vu all over again with the 7mm recoil issue, love my .270
